		<description>The KitBit stuff is interesting.  However we need to draw a distinction between completing certain tests that correlate well with intelligence and actual intelligence.  This software is impressive and has the capacity to do certain sets of recognition tasks.  However if we look at the most well known intelligence test (WAIS III), then it seems likely the program would have significant problems with many of the tasks.  It would probably complete matrices well and digit span but have difficulties with all the rest.

When I look at the puzzle solver page all the problems are pattern recognition problems i.e. what comes next in the series and are basically alphanumeric or geometrical.  The ability to compare concepts or organise a series of pictures into a coherent story are at this stage lacking.  Maybe a difference needs to be drawn between intelligence and intellectual ability

But the idea is certainly something to get excited about
